We are a self-steering team that continuously evolves and picks up new challenges (read: 'systems to fix' ;-) ), so we can not fully predict what we might be doing tomorrow. However, today we mainly offer a broad knowledge in embedded software quality to our customers with a unique specialization in building test automation solutions tailored for embedded devices.
We do this in our own Qteal team setup, which offers a mix of people with different skills and interests:
- Interest in how different products work, the technologies that are used in it and how these can be best tested
- Developing Python-based test automation frameworks and test tooling
- Guiding the software process and help build a planning for software products
- Deep-dive into the embedded development, to spot vulnerabilities and bad design
- ...
This mix ensures that we can fix any system in each unique customer case.
The applications for embedded devices are very widespread and appear in almost any area that you can think of. We have customers building automated solutions for HVAC applications, smart electric charging poles, applications and research in space, AI quality control in the food industry, and much more.
Qteal is looking for a software engineer with an interest in software quality and a passion for test automation. If you want to build large quality and test automation frameworks, we invite you to join and strengthen our team.
What You Can Do
Design and develop software: We design and implement test automation frameworks that can interact with software applications and actual products (e.g. embedded targets, motors, sensors, …)
Set up and configure typical CI/CD tools: From Docker, via Gitlab CI or Jenkins to Kubernetes
Perform test analysis on a software product: Define and document the approach we need to take to effectively test a software application or embedded system
Automate the collection of test data and results: Define what information we want to retrieve from the SUT, write software to collect it and put it in the proper database, say Kibana or Elasticsearch?
